I. Foundation Work - 3 Rounds
10 Clam shells/side
10 Pinwheel hip thrust/side
II. Workout - 5 Rounds for Time
10 DB deadlifts
20m (65 steps) DB high low carry
Ideal Weight: 20-25lbs
You ladies know how I like my deadlifts to look!
Feet hip width apart or slightly narrower
Hinge forward at the hips with an ever so slight knee bent
Flat back. Hinge until your DB heads tap the ground
High Low Carry
This is a newER carry to add to your toolbox; it really challenges your core and shoulders over time. Switch when hands goes high every round!
Clean the weight up to shoulder height - press 1 to full extension
Pull up your pelvic floor to stay braced the entire movement
Breath under control while keeping the ribs down.
